Back Pain

Back pain is very common and can be debilitating both physically and mentally. Despite the number of treatment options available a successful resolution isn't always easy to achieve. The results from thermal imaging will provide you with an accurate map detailing the location of inflammation and in some cases highlight neurological problems. Having this map will help you make choices as to who to see and provide your therapist/GP with accurate information to make treatment plans from.

In the case of this image, the client has been suffering for several years with severe back pain and despite various treatments felt that there was little improvement. Thermal images were performed to provide a map to help identify the key areas that needed treatment and to help decide who to see next. The red coloured pattern throughout the back shows the extent of the inflammation and the black marker was used to pinpoint the exact location of the highest temperature values. Being able to highlight these regions can help decide treatment plans and really target the source of the issue. As well as providing information for you it also provides key information for you GP/therapist to help determine the best course of action.

If you want to monitor your progress then you can have further images at a later date to monitor how well you are responding to treatment. Treatment plans can be continued or adjusted according to the results of the thermal images.
